Hi, I’m Paula Pister
Hey there, I’m Paula Pister (yep, just like it sounds, rhythms with sister).
I’m a certified Ayurvedic health and lifestyle coach, yoga teacher, entrepreneur, mom to two kiddos, and busy, midlife woman.
Just like you, I understand the challenges of juggling a career, family, heath, relationships and my own dreams and ambitions in this phase of life.
I guess you clicked on this page to learn a bit about me so let's start here...
As a teenager aspiring to be a model and actor, I struggled with self-worth, constantly feeling inadequate in an industry that prioritized thinness over health, youth over natural aging, and quick “fixes. " Trending diets and workout routines over self-care, acceptance, and natural aging. I can see how I carried that belief with me for a long time.
My life's path led me from a hobby farm upbringing to big city living, where I pursued ambitious goals in TV production on both sides of the camera throughout my 20s and 30s. The fast-paced lifestyle took its toll on my health and well-being. By 2014, I felt caught in an endless cycle, juggling entrepreneurship, auditions, teaching yoga, and solo parenting while my husband traveled for work.
I thought I was living healthily - practicing yoga, meditating, and eating well. But in reality, I was exhausted, using wine to relax and ignoring my body's signals. It took the sudden loss of my beloved father to shake me awake and commit to real change.
This profound loss transformed my life. While grieving and caring for my family, I realized I needed a different approach to life and health. This realization led me to embrace Ayurvedic wisdom and self-care practices.
Today, my journey inspires me to share these insights, especially with my teenage daughter. I want to ensure she doesn't struggle with the same self-doubts that once consumed me. Every day, I recommit to this path of self-discovery and holistic well-being, finding strength and purpose in Ayurvedic principles.
My mission now is to help others find balance and self-acceptance, using the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda to navigate our modern, often stressful world.
That Was The Biggest Transformational Experience Of My Life. What's Yours?
That’s when I found Ayurveda (yoga’s mother science)—it was the missing link. I committed to becoming a multi-certified health, life, and habit coach, diving deeper into Ayurveda, and sharing it with clients.
Ayurveda offered me simple yet profound tools to nurture my body, mind, and soul. Now, in my 50s, I see how every experience – successes and setbacks alike – has shaped my path. And guess what? The same is true for you!
My mission? To help you discover how you want to FEEL along your journey. It starts with prioritizing yourself and committing to positive change.
Remember: "To see the changes you want to see requires doing things differently."
That's precisely what I did, and now I'm here to guide other women through the challenges of midlife.
Together, we'll put you in the driver's seat of your health and happiness.
I'm not just a coach – I'm a fellow traveler on this journey, supporting you every step of the way.
